Companies are, in so many ways, like people. They are both born and experience their early years. They both reach adolescence during which time they learn from their mistakes and they both then move on to being large and mature. Gone are the long lines which stretch for blocks to the door of an Apple store in order to be “first” to buy a wonderful new Apple product. What we see in their absence, is a company which is slowly coming down to earth to be like almost just any other company. But notice I said “almost.”
Why almost? Well, because Apple is decidedly not just like “any other company.” The many cutting-edge and new technological developments put in place years ago by Steve Jobs have ensured that Apple will be quite a remarkable company well into the next decade.
